Finally Here They Are!

18 Month Pictures

Yay! I finished taking Brennan's pictures! I was told to go to historical Locust Grove here in Louisville. It was great. There were so many cool places to take pictures. Brennan got sick of walking around so I just stuck to a few good areas. We had so much fun just looking around out there. It was great mommy & Brennan time.

I will be editing for the next couple of days and then I will post all of the pictures! Oh, I am not forgetting Carter in all of this. I am just trying to focus on one thing at a time. :)

Brennan's 18 Month Pics

Well I am starting to take Brennan's 18 month pictures(a little late). I want to take him to a few different places but we started in a park and when I actually got him to sit still I got some pretty good shots. I never thought about how well the boys listened when someone other than myself was taking their pictures.

I am still working on it but I think I finally have a pretty good balance with photoshop. I am starting to get a little more comfortable!! I am just so glad I am making progress..Here is a before and after shot that I worked on.

Photoshop

Ok... I can see how people can get really out of control with photoshop! There are so many options and changes you can make to your pictures. I can see how people go way too far. I spent a lot of time today playing with it while the kids took their naps. I would really like to find specific settings on there that I would use on a regular basis and get rid of all of the other stuff. :)

Raw & Manual Mode

Ok I am now focusing on my settings in my camera. I was told taking them in raw is the only way to go and of course manual. I am having a hard time figuring out how everything works together but I have been told to just practice, practice, practice!

The Beginning...

Well I am starting my blog as I begin to work on the quality of my photos. I love taking pictures and really would like to see where I can go with all of this, even if it is just taking great pictures of my boys. I will be posting pictures of what I have learned and the progress that I make. Let's see how it goes! Wish me luck!
